🏴🐾 Dogs of Scotland is BACK at the Highland Games — and this year Border Tails Rescue is joining the fun with our very own Rescue Runway Show! 🐾🏴

Join us on Saturday, June 13th from 9AM–3PM for one of the most anticipated dog events of the year! Between incredible Scottish breed showcases, agility demonstrations, meet-and-greets, and all-day festivities, this is going to be an unforgettable day for dog lovers.

Border Tails Rescue will be showcasing adoptable dogs during our Rescue Runway Show, where attendees can meet some amazing pups looking for forever homes while learning more about our mission and rescue work throughout Chicago and beyond.

Founded 7 years ago by Harleigh Garcia, Border Tails Rescue started with the goal of rescuing dogs from Mexico and has since expanded to helping dogs from Korea, Puerto Rico, Chicago Animal Care and Control, and anywhere dogs need help — without breed restrictions. We proudly pull more dogs from CACC than any other rescue and specialize in helping senior dogs, medical cases, and dogs often overlooked elsewhere.

At BTR, once a dog becomes part of our family, we do whatever it takes to give them the second chance they deserve 🖤

We’ll also be sharing information about programs like Doggy Day Out, where volunteers can take shelter dogs out for adventures, naps, pup cups, and much-needed breaks from shelter life.

Dogs and puppies will be available for adoption directly at the event on Saturday, June 13th only from 9AM–3PM. Approved adopters may even be able to take their new best friend home right from the event!
